Top Tips to keep the kids busy without breaking the bank!

Are you pulling your hair out trying to find activities to keep the children busy for the holidays that don’t cost the earth? When you're on a budget, it can be difficult to entertain the family while still being creative and doing something different. 2.  Use the internet or social networking sites to search for local events and free activity days – Many local towns and cities offer free events during the school holidays, especially in museums and libraries, it’s just knowing where they are.

3. Free entry – Look for attractions that offer free entry, like museums and galleries, but don’t forget places like parks, beaches and the countryside for walks and picnics in the fresh air.

4. Take a pack lunch - We all know that buying food at most main attractions or in town centres these days is expensive, so plan ahead and organise a pack lunch or picnic. And why not keep the contents of the picnic a secret!! Your little ones will enjoy discovering what’s on today’s lunch menu.
